Mereway have just launched a unique new style of kitchen to their English Revival range called Modern Classic. Modern Classic is an In-Frame slab kitchen which offers a real bespoke kitchen look.
The demand for In-frame kitchens is currently soaring with consumers searching for something truly individual. Mereway’s new Modern Classic look presents a fresh, exciting new style. The In-Frame slab; a flat slab door with subtle horizontal grain, the removal of cross rails and delicate beading within the solid timber frame which presents a modern twist to in-frame kitchen design.
A unique mix of traditional & modern styling
Up until now, In-Frame kitchens were only an option for clients looking for traditional kitchens. However, the new style combines In-frame styling with a modern slab style door. So, In-Frame kitchens can now be considered by consumers looking for contemporary kitchens.
The new range also introduces some exciting new options such as painted interiors on the cabinets. It also offers painted open end units and open shelving, another new addition to the brand.
Available in a choice of 25 different colours, the new In-Frame Slab kitchen also brings a fresh new approach to mixing & selecting kitchen colours. ‘Colour Ties’ brings a brand new approach by suggesting 4 popular palettes using harmonious colours and a suggested complimentary colour. Earthy shades, greens, greys and blues are the core colour choices, with tonal shades to perfectly complement each other.
It’s worth noting that because the new Modern Classic range is part of Mereway’s premium English Revival range. This new kitchen is aimed firmly at the luxury end of the market. However, if the new range proves to be a good seller, consumers may start to see In-Frame shaker style kitchens become a more mass market style in the years to come.
