Kitchen Stori has just launched two new stunning smooth painted shaker kitchens to compliment their existing range. Both doors are made from 18mm thick MDF and feature a contemporary one piece style with a silky smooth painted finish.
The Georgia is a classic shaker style kitchen. The Florence incorporates a subtle internal bead around the center panel creating a slightly more traditional feel.
Being a painted MDF door, both doors have several advantages over vinyl wrapped & wood painted shaker kitchens. Unlike a wood door, MDF dosen’t expand and contract with changes in humidity & temperature. Therefore, you’ll never have the problem of cracking of the paint around the joints like you would with a wood door. The other advantage over painted wood is that painted MDF shaker kitchens are cheaper than painted wood shaker kitchens.
The big advantage painted MDF kitchens have over painted vinyl wrapped kitchens is there’s no chance of the door de-laminating. De-laminating is where the surface of the door peels away from the MDF base. De-lamination only effect vinyl wrapped & foil wrapped type doors.
Both doors come in a choice of 21 colours incorporating both dark and light tones.
Both also come complete with a full suite of matching accessories. The accessories also include beaded end panels and modular pilasters which allow for complete individuality of design.
Both of the doors are also fully FSC compliant, meaning the materials used are environmentally friendly.
The doors also come with kitchen Stori’s five-year warranty.
