Precious stone worktops – the next big thing?
Once, precious stones were only used solely to adorn jewellery. However, precious stone worktops and semi-precious stone worktops are starting to find there way into kitchen worktops.
If you are looking for worktops that are a little different and really want to give your kitchen the ‘wow’ factor, these could be just what you’ve been looking for.
However, it’s important to understand that precious stone worktops are very expensive. These precious and semi-precious worktops are aimed solely at the luxury end of the market. So, unless you are prepared to shell out a serious amount of money, you might be better off sticking with granite, quartz or ceramic worktops. Examples of ceramic worktops brands are Dekton and Neolith.
