When you start your search for a bespoke kitchen, you’ll probably start with one of the large well-known suppliers. These are easy to find. You just need to do a quick Google search and they’ll come up on the first two pages. Examples of these are Tom Howley, Harvey Jones, deVOL, Roundhouse and Sola Kitchens.
The advantage of buying from one of these places is that you’ll be buying from a well known brand. However, the down side is that you’ll pay through the nose for the privilege.
How much do these places charge?
For a large kitchen, comprising around 25 units, including granite, quartz or ceramic worktops (eg. Dekton), good quality appliances and installation, you’ll pay somewhere between £70,000 and £150,000.
If £70,000 – £150,000 is more than you wish to spend, the next place to look is the smaller, less well-known suppliers.
Smaller less well-known bespoke kitchen suppliers
If you use the same kitchen example used before, rather than costing £70,000 – £150,000, there are some smaller suppliers who’ll quote you £25,000 – £75,000. Plus, their kitchens are just as good quality as places like Tom Howley and Harvey Jones.
However, for every one smaller supplier who’ll quotes you £25,000 – £75,000, there’s probably ten who’ll quote you a lot more. Therefore, finding the ones who’ll quote you £25,000 – £75,000 is easier said than done.
The other problem is that even if you do find a supplier who quotes you £25,000 – £75,000, there’s a high chance the kitchen they’re offering you is much lower quality than places like Tom Howley, Harvey Jones, etc.
